To enhance the responsible prescribing and safe use of opioid pain medications, C.A.R.E.S. Alliance seeks members and support from multiple groups, including healthcare professionals, people with pain, pharmacists, professional societies, pharmaceutical companies and other organizations focused on patient safety.

Working together, we will enhance the safe use of opioid pain medications while maintaining the balance for appropriate access to pain management, thereby helping people who live with chronic pain find the relief they need.

C.A.R.E.S. Alliance is based on the belief that the answer to effective pain management lies in education, innovation and collaboration between health care professionals and people with pain.
